The main Submission Report of our Neighbourhood Plan has now been reviewed by an Independent Examiner and a copy of the recommendations for changes can be found as the bottom item in the ‘Reports’ section on the right hand side of this webpage.

The great news is that the extent of changes being proposed is relatively straightforward to include and the main policies being advocated have remained essentially intact!

The Neighbourhood Plan team will now undertake the task of reviewing in detail all of the feedback received from the Independent Examiner and will make necessary changes to the text within the main Submission Report.  It is likely that this task will take until July to complete and will include discussions with the Parish Council who are required to ‘sign off’ any changes prior to formal release to the District Council.

Subsequent stages of the Neighbourhood Plan progression will include receiving endorsement of the Policies contained within the Submission Report by both the District Council Cabinet prior to moving to the near final stage of a Parish-wide referendum where a simple majority of residents voting in favour of the Policies will ensure that this becomes an integral part of the District Core Strategy (Local Plan).

You can always contact the Neighbourhood Plan team to ask any questions by sending an e-mail to or by contacting us on 07967 057448
